The idea of Pastry Pup came about in two ways.  One day my boyfriend and I were walking in our neighborhood when a stray kitten walked up to us and proceeded to follow us home. After weeks of trying to find him a good home we realized how attached we were to the kitten and decided to keep him.  Meaning we had to go out and buy top quality food and treats for our little Bubbles.  Well as you probably already know finding that right food with the right ingredients is a pain, let alone trying to find equal or better quality treats!

Later, I decided to volunteer at one of my local animal shelters and realized that some of the animals could really benefit from some homemade treats that weren't just cheap donations.  So when the animal shelter had their Christmas event I decided it was the perfect time to try out a candy cane dog cookie with wholesome ingredients and they flipped for it! I received multiple requests to start selling these yummy treats that I decided it was time to start Pastry Pup!
